She won the heart of a farmer on television.
But Farmer Wants A Wife star, Melanie, revealed on Tuesday that not all was as it seemed on the show, admitting her most romantic date wasn't down to her man Julz but the crew.
Spilling behind-the-scenes secrets from the series tomamamia.com, the 27-year-old exercise physiologist from Sydney admitted: 'My beautiful hut date night, complete with sangas and bread...Julz didn’t touch the BBQ once.'

The red-haired beauty also revealed the pair's microphones had to stay on at all times, including when on bathroom breaks.

While she made a point that the programme's producers never fed them lines or scripted any parts of the show, Melanie didn't think she was portrayed in the best light to show off her personality.
'I’m severely sarcastic person and love a laugh. The ten second grabs haven’t done me much justice but those who know me well enough have had a good laugh,' Melanie explained.

For the reality TV contestant, the idea that she'd go on the show and actually end up with a farmer at the end of it was so unexpected.
Sher had already organised a viewing party with the girls before the show even kicked off filming.
'I was telling someone that my girlfriends and I had planned the wine list for the first episode viewing and Julz piped up with, “I thought you’d be watching it with me?”.
'The thought hadn’t even dawned on me that I’d end up with the Farmer,' she added.
Meanwhile, during the final episodes of the series, there was no mistaking that Julz had fallen for Melanie.
His final decision seemed apparent when he took Alli on the 24-hour date but later admitted during the date he couldn't help thinking about Melanie the entire time.

Taking Melanie on an intimate dinner that night, Julz let his guard down as he openly confessed his feelings for her.
'No one has caught my eye like you have - I've got a really good feeling going on,' he gushed.
'I feel like I'm going to be like a bloody school kid,' he confessed to her.
The pair then locked lips across the table, with Melanie later gushing: 'I never expected I would feel what I am feeling tonight and I am hoping this farmer has found his wife.'
