Does UCF have good Greek life? ›

The UCF fraternity/sorority community is very strong, and all of the chapters fulfill their duties to achieve excellence in these areas.

Dues vary from chapter to chapter but average around $300 for fraternities and $400 for sororities per semester.

The UCF Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the twelve National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities at UCF. The Council is comprised of ten executive officers, chapter presidents, twelve chapter delegates, and twelve junior delegates.

Are there any requirements? Membership in a fraternity and sorority chapter is limited to any student who is paying activity and service fees and is currently or continuously enrolled with the University of Central Florida. Incoming members must also have a GPA of at least 2.5 to join.

We have an active Greek community, with 43 fraternities and sororities represented and about 3,000 students involved.

How much are the most expensive sorority dues? The most expensive sorority, or at least one of the most expensive, is the University of Alabama. A new member will pay over $4,000 per semester.

Is it cheaper to live in a sorority house or dorms? Depending on where you attend college and the other lodging options available, living in a sorority house may be cheaper than living in a dorm.
